Tumeric has been used as a spice, for medicinal purposes and as food. It has very strong antioxidant & anti-inflammatory properties.
Tumeric Tea: Boil 4 cups of water. Add 1 tsp turmeric powder. Reduce to a simmer for 10minutes. Strain this using a fine sieve. Add lemon or honey to taste.
Use as a seasoning in cooking, add to sauces, dressing, soup or drinks.
